We all want our kid's schools to be the very best they can. The way we can help best is by joining the PTA and getting involved in the life of the school. It's not just our kids and schools that benefit. You might just find you end up involved in a lot of fun, too.

IT’S GOOD FOR YOUR CHILDREN!

You are your children’s most important role model.

Showing your children you value their education will teach them to value it as well.

Most children do actually like to know that you are there for them, taking an interest and sharing their experience.

IT’S GOOD FOR YOU!

At PTA meetings you can have your say.

You can raise concerns, suggest ideas and input into how funds are spent.

Being part of the PTA helps you get to know other parents and their children. This is important for school matters but also great for a more active social life!

It's actually quite fun to be involved! Isn't this what it's all about - part of the whole parenting package!

IT’S GOOD FOR THE SCHOOL!

Schools are becoming more and more dependent on PTA’s for fundraising revenue to supplement the school budget. Money raised by the PTA is used to pay for those little extras that can make a school a special, like assemblies and field trips.

The most successful schools have involved parents.

Membership pricing: Individual -$10 / Family  - $18

Please share your pictures! Help us capture all of the great Longacre events throughout the school year and upload your pictures for use on social media and our Longacre 2024/2025 Yearbook!
